β€œShe was 18. Her people, who loved her whole life, took her, a vaccination booklet, a leash, a collar and her belongings and took her to the Baldwin Park shelter. They said they were tired of fighting with an older dog, signed papers and left, without even looking at her.
When she was picked up by a volunteer at the shelter, she leaned on him probably wishing it was all just an ugly dream.
The moment was immortalized by photographer John Hwang, who was in the shelter at the time.
Unfortunately, dogs love sincerely, with all their heart, with all their soul and are unable to understand that human 'love forever' most often has an expiration date.. - to annual, to moving, to illness, to old age...
Dogs definitely deserve better people!”

We travelled all over Europe together in Van, and from the Caribbean to the South Pacific Ocean by our sailing boat for 4 years.
She had travelled for 19 countries!!
Now she starts on a new adventure trip again.

I am asking for prayers for my son Ledger. We found out at the beginning of the month he has B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and I made my first ever post on here asking for prayers for his first surgery.
Unfortunately we’re back at Primary Children’s where ledger has had constipation and he might have to have surgery for a hole in his intestines. please pray with us that he won’t need surgery and that it will be an easy fix and that he can regain his health.
I ask for prayers for my son and for me and my husband ❀️❀️

Asking for prayers for my boy Carbon…

He torn his cruciate ligament in his left knee and had TPLO surgery 128 days ago.

I have been seeing toe touching on his right leg for about a week. But today as he went to sit up front with me in the Dutton truck. I leaned back to snuggle him and he left out a yelp.

My heart sank and the guilt is crushing. I can’t even begin to fathom the thought of having the surgery on the other leg. All of the anxiety is suffocating. The pain my poor dog would have to endure again. The risk of him not waking up because of him being allergic to the sedative…

But I can say he is now limping and in pain.

I honestly don’t know if I can go through it all again, let alone him go through it.

Please say a prayer that he will not need to go under again. Please pray that I am just over reacting.
