Anyone else can’t believe how fast 2025 went by?! 😮‍💨🤯 This year held some of my favorite travel memories and destinations to date. A lot of incredible moments and a few hard ones sprinkled in there too. So many friends made, lessons learned, and sights seen. I’m grateful for every second of it, even the more difficult ones. Here’s to another year of epic adventures and memories! Love you guys! 🥂✈️🚐👯‍♀️✨

I don’t know about you, but to me, this year feels different. Costs are up across the board—groceries, energy, gifts… even the little holiday traditions don’t feel “little” anymore. 😅

A lot of families are feeling the weight of higher bills and new tariffs driving up prices on clothing,electronics, toys, and even everyday things like coffee and olive oil.

If this season feels a bit heavier for you too, you’re not alone. 🫂

Here’s what helps me to stay grounded: flexible travel dates, experiences over things, hand-written cards or DIY gifts, honest conversations about budgets, and not guilt tripping myself.

The magic was never in the price tag anyway. ✨

The other day I went to buy blueberries and I almost left my jaw at the grocery store. The price tag said $11!

Everywhere I look, things cost more: electricity, groceries, holiday gifts, even the simple things we used to grab without thinking. And for so many families, the pressure of making Christmas “feel special” while prices keep climbing is a lot to carry.

These rising costs, including this administration’s tariffs, are adding up for everyday Americans. Even a few of the brands I work with have mentioned being affected and have had to alter their business models to stay afloat.

But there are small ways to soften the season:
-Choose meaningful over expensive.
-Be honest about budgets.
-Watch for price alerts.
-Give yourself permission to do things differently this year.

I recently had this conversation with my friend and it’s got me thinking: This season comes with
a lot of joy… and a lot of financial pressure and I know we’re not alone in feeling this way. 🎄💸

Bills are rising, groceries cost more, and new tariffs are making holiday gifts more expensive for everyone. 🙄

If you’re adjusting how you celebrate this year, or shifting your gifting plans, or being more intentional with travel, it’s okay.

Remember that all the beautiful views we share in here are a highlight reel. You’re doing the best you can in a tough moment.

Give yourself grace. The holidays were never meant to be measured by spending. ✨
