My father Ray Anthony was a Weekend Warrior in the Naval Reserves who served during the Korean Conflict and was based on the Pictured here: Two U.S. Navy F9F-2 Panther of Fighter Squadron 721 (VF-721) "Iron Angels" over Wonsan, North Korea, during a strike on enemy communications and railroad facilities on 6 June 1951. VF-721 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 101 (CVG-101) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Boxer (CV-21) (A-106), piloted by Lt(JG) Ray H. Anthony, USNR, and (A-124), piloted by Lt(JG) Herbert G. Pickartz, USNR. Both pilots were former "Weekend Warriors" (reservists) from Naval Air Station Glenview, Illinois (USA).

This is my Hometown. I went to the July 4th Parade every year and participated as a Brownie, Girl Scout and High School Band. The one Place I thought would always be safe has now joined a special group “Mass Shooting”. I’m in Shock. I have friends and family there. Im praying for everyone. The shooter: Young White Male 18-20 years old. It’s an epidemic. Im at a loss. 😟
