Happy ! 🎉 Hope you guys are having an amazing day so far! Today I’m here to tell you two things that I believe you all should know:
# 1 The hair thrives off of the complete amino acids and micro nutrients from omnivorous proteins. SO vegans, be extra conscious of the types of protein. Aim for a variety.

# 2 Your body requires more protein than ever postpartum. Recents studies show you need 1.7-1.9 gm/kilograms of protein per body weight. That can average out to 30mg per meal!

If your hair has become more brittle or dry over the years, take a good look at your diet to help identify any major changes.

I was fascinated by the different type of growth factors and how to spot the most effective ones since they can be very expensive ingredients. How they can help any and everyone with their hair goals. Pre-post hair transplant surgery, temporary thinning, chronic hair loss. boosting and amping up your hair. Static is simply caused by lack of moisture and friction. When the temperature drops and the indoor heat turns on, we lose moisture in the air and our hair gains extra electrons which causes the strands to repel from one another. 😳 With added friction from scarves and hats in the winter time, we exacerbate the flyaways and dry looking effects of static!

The best way to prevent static in the winter is to add extra moisture to your hair post shower, before it dries, by using a serum or hair oil to increase your hair’s moisture levels. For the full story visit my blog: The Leona Way. ✨

Curly hair is a look that’s gorgeous and fits for any occasion. As with any hair type, everything comes down to the quality of your hair. If it looks healthy, frizz-free, evenly colored and moisturized, then you look good, sis! 😎

Both straight hair and curly hair can look unruly- and that’s perfectly fine, but sometimes we may want a more polished look.

This all comes down to knowing how to wash, prep and style your hair. The right routine makes all the difference. Power to the ladies who have mastered their curly hair because it’s definitely a lifestyle that isn’t for the weak ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

Yes, your hair is a growing thing that requires nutrients in order to grow healthy, but it plays no significant role in your overall health! Your body will neglect your hair before anything else when it’s under severe stress, which serves as a friendly reminder that our body doesn’t require our hair system for survival. It can do just fine without it functioning. 🤯

Keep this is mind next time you consider a restrictive diet, take on too much stress, over exercise or do anything that may cause harm to your body. The least important systems are the first to shut down in order for your body to address more important functions!
