“Suíte do Pescador” was created a couple of years ago. The track includes vocals (chant you can say I guess) from a folk song my parents use to listen to back when I was a kid. The original was played many times on a Saturday morning radio show of soothing songs that to this day whenever I listen to one of them, take me back immediately to my childhood. Hope you’ll like it!! Big thank you to When We Dip for helping me spread the word ❤️

It’s been a while since I released music by myself (not a collaboration or a remix). This time, I decided to go with dance floor oriented tracks, tested in many club nights around the globe. Both tracks are uplifting in their own ways. “Baldwin” includes a heavy Prophet 6 baseline, an evolving main melody on different chords, and drums with a general feel of driven energy. “Keep on Dancing” composed on a Moog Subsequent 37, incorporates a big break of matching synth lines along with a simple vocal message which rings true since the beginning of time - Keep On Dancing!

Something a bit different this time. While listening to Avi Snow's music on Spotify a few months ago, I stumbled into the original “Here Now” and immediately felt a connection to Ben Cina's vocals, especially the sentence “Know that it’s been too long but I’m Here Now”. I couldn’t get it out of my head 🙂 From that point on, Avi quickly sent me the original files and this remix was produced in my old Tel Aviv studio while Avi re-recorded the guitars to fit with the new direction of the track in his LA studio. So.. I’m opening a record label. The idea was brewing inside me for a while as I like to collaborate with many artists and I wanted all of us to have a unique and unified avenue to release our music. The label is based in New York City and is named Silver Joe. Why Silver Joe you ask? Because it feels right!! I have a story about it. A few years ago I had a mini writers block for a month or two which led me to conclude I needed something new in the studio to refresh my mood a bit.. so I ordered a Moog Subsequent 37 (good excuse, right?) While I was waiting for the synth to arrive, I decided to have a small writing session with Diva and eventually replace the Diva midi parts with the Moog who was scheduled to arrive. 12 hours later I had a full finished track and the writers block was gone. I asked myself what is the name of the track and immediately Silver Joe came to mind. It was so quick that I had to check online if there was a show or a character named Silver Joe which I was subconsciously thinking about. Turns out there wasn’t. The whole process just felt right. The track, the name and the music which was eventually signed and released as well. To make a very long story short, Silver Joe as a record label just feels right as the track created a couple of years ago by the same name just felt right. First release is coming in one week, join us:

New music is out now on Plaisirs Sonores Records. Great people involved all around in this release. Hicky & Kalo (who own the label), super musicians and great people in our industry. Avi Snow, who added his touch to “Common Ground” with beautiful Spanish sounding guitars and quality songwriting. Ben Cina, crafting lovely vocals and smart lyrics, and Paso Doble, with a super cool interpretation of “Common Ground”. I have a whole story about the second track “Silver Joe” which I will post about on a later date :-)

70% Water was created right at the beginning of the lockdowns, more than two years ago. I have no idea why it works quite well on the dance floor, I actually remember opening the project recently to try and figure out what I did there and I got to the conclusion its all illogical mess :-) I don’t think there was a set in the past two years that I didn’t play this track so I hope you like it.. 70% Water is out now alongside many amazing tracks on PlattenBank Records Secrets #8.
