WHEN THE TURKEY WASN'T THE ONLY THING GETTING ROASTED: A TESTIMONY 🦃
Ladies, pull up a seat. I need to share something real with y'all... 💕
You ever have a moment when God speaks so loud you can't ignore it? Well, mine came with a side of stuffing... 🙏🏾
That Thanksgiving started like any other:
House full of family
Food smelling amazing
Laughter everywhere
My marriage looking solid (or so I thought)
But then... that warm breeze hit my face TWICE, whispering "Ask him the question now, Jasmine" 👂🏾
Y'all. When the Holy Spirit has a message, it don't play! 😩
So right there, between the mac & cheese and the sweet potato pie, I asked him straight up: "Are you messing with someone else?"
His response? Smooth as butter: "Yes, I found someone that I really like." 💔
PAUSE. ⏸️
Let me tell you what happens when your world shatters between grace and greens:
Your body goes WILD
Your mind can't process
The room starts spinning
Trust? GONE
Holiday trauma? REAL
But queens, here's the BREAKTHROUGH part... 👑
God doesn't break you without a blessing coming! Here's what saved me:
✨ Got myself some therapy (and Jesus, but both kinds of healing hit different)
✨ Started journaling my journey
✨ Created NEW traditions
✨ Found my tribe of sisters who SHOWED UP
✨ Got closer to God than ever before
Romans 8:28 says it ALL: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him..." 📖
To every woman who's had her heart served up alongside the holiday ham - I SEE YOU. 👀
Your breakthrough is coming, sis. Sometimes God has to clear your plate of what's not serving you before He can fill it with what you deserve! 🙌🏾
This Thanksgiving? I'm grateful for the revelation. Because that empty seat at the table? That's space for my upgrade. 💅🏾
