I just downloaded this font and thought it would look so good in a quote.

Running your own business isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s late nights, tough decisions, and relentless perseverance—but it’s also the freedom to build your dreams on your own terms.

The freedom I have while running my own business is huge for me. I have three small kids and being able to just lay in bed with my 4 year old in the morning and goof around and not have to rush off before the sun gets up is a win. Being able to have lunch with my boys and help my husband homeschool them is a win. Being able to stop work at 3 and be there for all their extra actives is a win.

I am not making the salary I used to make, but making memories with my kids and being more available to them is way more important to me.

Since there has been a lot of chatter about Walmart updating their logo. I thought this was interesting to see with some more recent rebrands. In 2023 Reddit and Android put details back into their main logos while Minute Maid and Fanta went way simpler.

For my small business clients I always suggest going simple because of how costly it is to reproduce logos for a business that don't have millions of dollars to spend on a rebrand.

What do you think, do you think some of these simpler looking brands are going to bring back in the textures and shadowing that we saw everyone doing in the year 2000s, or will brands still continue to simplify.
