Founded in 1991, ACCENT is an award-winning, full-service event/meeting planning firm in New Orleans. In 1991, Diane B.

Lyons, Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP), began ACCENT on Arrangements, Inc. with just two people and one goal: to provide meeting professionals and convention planners with local expertise, the highest level of customer service, and truly unforgettable experiences. Our staff now consists of 11 full-time employees, 6 project managers, and more

than 100 part-time employees. ACCENT now runs 100 programs in every major meeting city in the US, as well as in Canada and the Caribbean. You can expect total professionalism and hands-on management of each job, exceptional attention to security and safety procedures, and consistently high quality service from ACCENT. ACCENT boasts numerous awards and features in several major business publications including The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and Nation's Business, as well as an appearance on Good Morning America. ❄️ SNOW IN NEW ORLEANS?! ❄️

We can hardly believe it either, but here we are, bundled up and braving the polar vortex... facing with teeth chattering potentially the most snow here in 130 years! 😲

To keep things cozy, the ACCENT DMC team will be working remotely Tuesday and Wednesday.

Our amazing office manager, Laurie Singletary, can be reached during normal business hours at 504-524-1227 if you need anything.

(Of course, if you hear reports of a snowman on Carrollton... don't be surprised ☃️)

Whether you’re all about creamy brie, sharp cheddar, or something local like Creole cream cheese, today’s the day to celebrate the real MVP of snacks.

🍽️ Fleur du Coeur: A Culinary Tribute is a heartfelt initiative bringing together Bourbon Street restaurants and bars to support the victims and families impacted by the New Year’s Day tragedy.

From January 13-19, 2025, participating restaurants and bars will feature a special dish or drink, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Greater New Orleans Foundation New Year’s Day Tragedy Fund.

This effort unites our community through the healing power of food and hospitality, offering a way for you to help while celebrating the spirit of New Orleans.

How to Participate:

⚜️ Visit any participating restaurant or bar during the week of January 13–19.
⚜️ Order the featured Fleur du Coeur dish or drink to contribute directly to the Tragedy Fund.
⚜️ Share your experience on social media using to amplify support and encourage others to join.
