The Times CT

The Times CT The Times newspapers are free weekly editions of community-focused news highlighting content from the eight Times papers and community news from The Day.

The best news we get comes from you, so we've made it easy to submit news, photos, calendar items and other listings to The Times. To submit briefs, Pet Pal stories, corrections or calendar items, contact us via email: [email protected]. We like to get things at least two weeks before the publication date by which your item needs to get in. We love to get photos for our occasional feature "What in

the World?" Take a photo of something that is going on or an obscure place or sign in town, and we will leave it to our readers to explain the back story. To send a story idea or photo or talk about local coverage:

Our Story

The best news we get comes from you, so we've made it easy to submit news, photos, calendar items and other listings to The Times. To submit briefs, Pet Pal stories, corrections or calendar items, contact us via email: [email protected]. We like to get things at least two weeks before the publication date by which your item needs to get in. We love stories on your accomplishments or milestones for our Friends & Neighbors feature. Don’t forget to include a high-resolution .jpg photograph and send it to [email protected].

We also have regular features called Be An Angel in which people write in about supporting good causes and volunteering help and Kindness in Real Life in which we have readers tell us stories that have warmed their heart.

In addition, we have two other regular features that require your help: Let’s Go, about great coming up, and Out & About, where we love to hear about great venues to be entertained. Always think photos first! We also love to hear great story ideas or random interesting photos. To send a story idea or photo or talk about local coverage, please contact: Lee Howard, Community Editor (860) 701-4356, [email protected] For questions about briefs and calendar items: Amanda Hutchinson, Assistant Community Editor (860) 701-4211, [email protected]
