The New Egypt Press goes live today deep in the city of Philadelphia as the Plumsted/New Egypt area's own New Jersey United Christian Academy (NJUCA) Varsity Volleyball team faces off against International Christian High School!!! The New Egypt Press is very excited to follow our local school sports in our area, both Public and Private. Here coaches Daniel and Hannah Maldonado prepare before their big playoff game.
After losing their Captain to an injury early in the series, the Team had to dig deep. Gutting it out in a 5 game stretch, the gritty Mustangs of NJUCA displayed the composure of a team with far greater experience. Kudos to the underclassmen who stepped up their leadership and kept the girls focused on the coaches instructions and the difficult task at hand.
