Today is an incredibly emotional day for me, as I celebrate 35 years of my professional journey. Reflecting on this path fills my heart with profound gratitude and nostalgia. This past year has been a whirlwind, marked by a significant new venture into the learning and development domain. Alongside my partner, we launched a full-fledged company, a dream that has finally come to fruition.

Starting something from the ground up is never easy. Our new setup is still finding its feet, but I am filled with hope and anticipation for the future. This venture has given me a chance to reboot myself, to reignite the passion and excitement that first drew me into my career. I am ready to embrace the immense opportunities that lie ahead with renewed energy and zeal.

In addition to this new chapter, I am also celebrating 30 dedicated years in the MEDIA industry. These years have been a series of challenges, learning, and growth. The journey has not been easy, but the support and camaraderie of my colleagues and friends have been my anchors. You have all taught me so much, and I am eternally grateful for every experience and lesson.

On this special day, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my friends, family, and well-wishers. Your unwavering support, kind words, and blessings have been my strength. I carry your faith in me in everything I do, and it means the world to me.

My journey began at the Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi on July 17, 1989. I remember that day as if it were yesterday. It was the start of an incredible adventure, one that has brought me here today. As I look back, I am filled with pride and gratitude for every step, every challenge, and every victory.

May God grant me the energy and courage to reach even greater heights. I hope to make my near and dear ones proud and continue to learn and grow alongside you all. I am extremely proud to have served as a judge at the Bhartiyan Master Kitchener Awards 2024, held last week at the Radisson Dwarka.

The event, organized by the BMK Awards, was a fantastic experience, celebrating excellence in the Food & Beverage industry. We honored over 60 outstanding professionals for their remarkable contributions, showcasing the best of culinary talent.

Each winner demonstrated exceptional expertise in their craft, and it was inspiring to be part of a jury that included many well-known chefs. These esteemed chefs also commended the winners for their skill sets, adding to the prestige of the awards.

A special thanks to Samiksha Aggarwal for flawlessly managing the event. The seamless organization ensured a smooth flow, filled with joyous smiles and celebratory moments.

From the beautifully arranged venue to the vibrant atmosphere, every detail was perfect, making it an unforgettable day. I feel honored to have been part of such a prestigious event and look forward to future celebrations of culinary excellence 💐

Yesterday, I had the wonderful opportunity to pitch a workshop at a renowned institute along with my partner Vandana Saxena . During the visit, I was tasked with conducting a spontaneous demo session, which engagingly captivated the audience for nearly two hours, ending with smiles all around.

One of the highlights of the day was touring various departments and meeting with the heads, gaining insight into their unique operational methods.

Additionally, during my tour of the media school, I couldn't resist the chance to sit in the anchor's chair. Observing my own visuals and delivery from this perspective was enlightening—judging anchors might be straightforward, but experiencing the intensity of the spotlight firsthand is quite the challenge.

Today marks three years since I was rushed to Fortis Hospital with severe Covid , a time when hope from the medical team was nearly lost. Yet, through some fortunate twist of fate, I am here today, alive and well. These past years have been wonderfully transformative for us—we’ve turned our house into the dream home we always imagined and joyously welcomed two new members, Simba and Dipintika, into our family. We’ve also embraced the delightful role of being in-laws.

I am profoundly thankful to all my friends and family for your unwavering support and for breathing new life into our days. My immediate family and I will always be deeply indebted to each of you for your efforts and love.

Today feels like the perfect occasion to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you. As we look to the future, I am filled with excitement about the new memories and achievements that lie ahead. Last week, I had the honour of being invited as a distinguished jury member at the prestigious ENBA 2023 event, held at the Imperial Hotel in New Delhi.

It was an extraordinary evening filled with anticipation and excitement as media professionals from across the country vied for recognition and accolades.

As the evening unfolded, it was a pleasure to witness the spirited competition among industry giants such as Aaj Tak, ABP News, and NDTV, along with the remarkable emergence of India News and PTC News, whose contributions added a new dimension to the event. Regional players also left an indelible mark, underscoring the diverse system of India's media landscape.

Amidst the fervour of competition, it was heartening to see the dedication and talent showcased by each participant.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the announcement of the winners. India Today & Aaj Tak emerged as shining stars, garnering an impressive total of 108 medals, a testament to their unwavering commitment to excellence. ABP News, NDTV, and NewsX & India News also showcased their prowess, clinching significant accolades across various categories.

The ENBA awards, presented under seven broad categories encompassing Programming, Personality, Marketing, Digital Media, International News, Overall Excellence, and Special Awards, celebrated the multifaceted nature of media. Each award was a testament to the relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation within the industry.

I must extend my heartfelt appreciation to Exchange4Media's exceptional team, led by the visionary Dr Annurag Batra, whose meticulous planning and ex*****on ensured the seamless success of the event. From the nomination process to the grand jury meetings, their dedication was truly commendable.

In 1989, my professional journey began right after completing school, sidelining the opportunity for conventional college due to a full-time role at the Taj Mahal Hotel at a grass-root level. Despite my father's ardent wish for me to delve into journalism, enrolling at the prestigious Jamia Millia Islamia University seemed like a distant dream due to personal constraints.

Fast forward to 2017, and after numerous years, I had the honour of setting foot in this extraordinary university as a speaker. Over a three-day workshop, I shared insights about branding and marketing strategies for the radio industry.

While I never learnt, theories in the conventional college setups, the learnings still came my way. Teaching Master's students became a testament to realising lofty aspirations through hard-earned learnings and experience.

Though my father wasn't present to witness this moment, I believe he would have bestowed blessings on me for entering the institution he once envisioned I would study in—albeit, this time, as an expert to share my learnings with students.

The essence of the story echoes in the phrase, "Work hard in silence; let success reverberate as your symphony." Grab every learning that comes your way and leverage it to your best capabilities.

This progression in roles highlights the journey from a specific job at the Taj Mahal Hotel to a more encompassing managerial role at BBC Worldwide.

The underlying message is that by pursuing one's aspirations fervently, success becomes not just a dream but a result of dedicated effort and hard work.

I was reflecting on a truly surreal experience as I stepped back into the lawn of Kendriya Vidyalaya at
R K Puram Sector 2, New Delhi—my alma mater for 12 formative years. It's been a remarkable journey since my 12th year in 1989, almost 34 years ago, and today I had the privilege of returning to inspire and motivate the current students, particularly those gearing up for the crucial tenth and twelfth board exams.

The highlight of the day was addressing over 3000 students, sharing anecdotes, and engaging in interactive sessions with each batch. The instant connection with these young minds and the opportunity to alleviate their concerns about the future were truly fulfilling. My vast experience became a bridge to share wisdom, answer questions, and bring cheers to these budding minds.

A heartfelt thank you to the respected principal, Satyanarain Yadav Ji, for the warm reception and generous hospitality during my visit. The sessions with senior classes were particularly enriching, as the students came forward with a plethora of questions, creating an atmosphere of curiosity and eagerness to learn.

Revisiting my past and giving back to the place that shaped my existence was a profound experience. Today marks one of the best days of my life—a day filled with gratitude, nostalgia, and the joy of connecting with the future generation.

Here's to the enduring spirit of Kendriya Vidyalaya and the countless memories it holds.

I'm absolutely thrilled and beyond elated to share some incredible news with all of you.

This is a moment that's close to my heart and a dream come true! I have the honour and privilege to address not one, but TWO shifts of bright and talented 3200 students at my alma mater, Kendriya Vidyalaya R K Puram 2, New Delhi on 13th December.

Returning to the very grounds where I spent twelve memorable years, where the journey of my education began, feels surreal. It's not just a trip down memory lane; it's a homecoming filled with pride, nostalgia, and gratitude.

What makes this experience even more special is that it's not just about revisiting my past. It's about giving back to the school that shaped me, moulded me, and gave me my very first professional opportunity.
It's a full-circle moment, and I can't wait to share my experiences, insights, and hopefully, inspire the incredible minds at KV R K Puram 2
