“I just need a second chance” 😢💔 Meet Jose. He was holding the door open at a gas station, hoping to earn some money, when I encountered him. Upon giving him $200, he shared his story. After losing his apartment in Florida due to his salary not being able to keep up with rent, him and his uncle attempted to start a new life in New York. After a few months here, his uncle sadly passed assed, and was left alone to figure things out. With no other family members, he became lost, and scavenging the streets, often looks through garbage for food.
