Gratitude Journal β€οΈβ€οΈ
Being thankful is a very powerful thing. If you are a person who is disappointed with life, the first thing you can do for a good change is to be thankful.
The Buddha spent the first week after becoming a Buddha to express his gratitude to the Bodhisattva who sent him to become a Buddha.
That is, to be thankful. If you are a Catholic devotee, you always give thanks by saying 'Thank God' for something good that happened to you. So even in our religions, giving thanks in that way is the most basic place.
So today I am going to teach about beautiful activities that can change our life like magic and fill us with happiness. That is writing 'Gratitude Journal'.
(1) Where to start.
First of all, get a book. If you already have a diary or a journal, you can also get it. Otherwise, you can also make notes on your phone. First, take some free time, make a hot tea and get ready. Now, in this journal, write about the things you have already received in your life thanks to them. .That means, write happily and thank you for things like your family, friends, education, and your beautiful experiences.
(2) Always be thankful.
Every day you spend, things happen that you can thank and be happy about without realizing it. For example, start thanking for small things like 'a friend bought you food today, father brought you chocolate, brother helped you, lover made you happy'. By doing this activity every night before going to sleep, you will start to feel like every day is filled with only the most important and happy memories.
(3) This is the best activity to turn a bad thing into a good one
It is normal for us to experience both good and bad things in life. Life can be lived happily and well by changing the way we look at things. Now that you have the Gratitude Journal, you can easily be positive. If something bad or unpleasant happens to you, write about it in the Gratitude Journal. You can write in it and write the good things you get from it. For example, let's say you failed an exam, then in this Gratitude Journal you can write about the lessons you learned from failing. Also, let's say you are sad because of the loss of a romantic relationship. Write about the good things you got because you lost the relationship in the journal.
(4) Transcend deficiencies
Let's imagine that you don't have a lot of money. Let's also imagine that you are a person who does not work and still depends on your parents to study. Then you can write well about lack of money. Avoiding getting sick will not make you great. You can also try to manage even the smallest amount of money you have.
