Today’s Tell Me Something Good Tuesday about 3 New Braunfels girls who are traveling to the United Kingdom to play soccer!

Bailey, Maggie, and Norah all play soccer year-round with a local club! Last year the 11-year-olds were all selected and invited to compete in the Manchester Easter International Cup in the UK.

The trip will include representing NB playing soccer, touring multiple stadiums, and watching matches!

The girls need to raise around $20,000 to make the trip. They are currently hosting a shoe drive to help raise funds.

Anyone can donate shoes at Play It Again Sports and J&R Gymnastics until January 21st. They will also be holding drop-off time at the NB Public Library January 6th from 5-6pm.

Last week, we played the second Roots and Branches ever and the first show with guests. Tonight, we will play the FIRST EVER Roots and Branches with Ray Wylie Hubbard and Mattson Rainer.

Mattson and Ray Wylie have done close to 600 shows together, and tonight is show one.

Wassailfest is here and will take over New Braunfels streets tonight!

Last year, Darleen Dixon shared her Tropical Twist Wassail and how she began making Wassail on the RadioNB Blog.

"I wouldn’t have even known about wassail at that time, except for my on air position with Radio New Braunfels. Although I am of German descent, and I grew up in this area, I had not experienced wassail before being at the radio station and attending our local Wassailfest. I remember fun times at Wassailfest with my radio family, all of us bundled against the cold, laughing our heads off on the streets of downtown New Braunfels"

Meet Amore!

As her name suggests, she is the embodiment of love in feline form. Amore is a living testament to resilience, having been in and out of the shelter three times since 2021 due to circumstances beyond her control.

While she is selective in both her canine and feline companionship, it doesn’t seem like she would mind the company of others with the right introduction!

This love bug prefers gentle pets over scratches but loves to cuddle! As for her other interests, Amore ADORES feathers, turning each swat at them into a dance of delight. Her playful spirit is a reminder that love and joy can coexist even in the face of life's uncertainties.

Amore is approximately 2 years and 7 months old, spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and SO ready for a forever home!!

She is currently residing at our offsite location adoption location, PetSmart at Creekside, where you can visit her through the glass doors! If you’re interested in meeting her one-on-one, please submit an adoption application and our offsite coordinators will get in touch with you!
