CJ Malueg had a fast Winged Crate Sprint Car Saturday night at Wilmot Raceway. CJ, Tommy Sexton and Brian Kristan were going to be show just a few laps into the twenty lap feature. Then Kristan slowed to a stop at the top of turn two bringing out a caution. A multi car crash in turns three brought out the red flag on the restart. On the following restart Malueg took control of the event and went on to win. Sexton finished second, Greg Olson third, Matt VanderVere Racing and Ion Stear rounded out the top five. The Wisconsin WingLESS Sprint Series had a three car battle for the top spot at the end of the feature Saturday night at Wilmot Raceway. Derek DC Crane Racing LLC, Jimmy Sivia JT PEN Racing and Clayton 09 Rossmann Racing who was racing the Cox Racing #40 car raced from the top to the bottom of the speedway with Crane powering through on the top side and getting the popular win. Rusty Egan got by Rossman to finish third. Allen Hafford came home fifth. Here are some of the photo highlights of the evening.

If you were not there...you missed out. Two entertaining races from the guys and gals of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES at The Milwaukee Mile this past weekend. As alway in the final look at an event I try to add some different prospectives around the track. Growing up at the Mile as a kid I have great family and friend memories. I'm extremely happy I was able to add to those this past weekend. Can't wait to be back in August of 2025!

The return weekend at the Milwaukee Mile for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES was just amazing. The on track product was on point. Great racing throughout the field, lots of passing, strategy and drama. Great crowds both Saturday and Sunday as well! As a paying customer myself this weekend to help support the Mile I decided to leave the camera home for the Saturday race and just be a fan. I brought it along on Sunday and captured a some new moments in Milwaukee IndyCar history. I hope you enjoy the photos! Congratulations to Arrow McLaren and Team Penske on the victories this weekend. Finally again as a fan Saturday night, watching Conor Daly show that he belongs in the series full time was so much fun! Cheers everyone!

Well, for me there’s only two more major events at the National Park of Speed left this year. So I decided to look back at the spring and summer so far. There's a family atmosphere at Road America. Not just the families that come out to the track. It's the track personal, race teams, concession stand workers, safety team, corner workers and lastly the photographers. It's alway good to see everyone. It's does feel like one big family. I'm very grateful for all the friendships this amazing place has created for me over the years. See you all at VSCDA in a few weeks!

Ok so story time...when I attended my first Sports Car race back in 2007 at Road America, the Flying Lizard Motorsports instantly became my favorite team. The name of the team caught my eye to start with. But then, the personality the team had sold me completely. Fast forward seventeen years and the team is still strong. The drivers and cars a different but the personality is the same. It could be their new GT3 BMW or the GT4 Aston Martins or the GT4 Nissan with the retro look, it doesn't matter to me. If they are at the event I'm shooting at....the fan in me comes to life!

Trying to tell the story about three days of action at Road America with all the SRO World Challenge America classes that were on track was a blast. Turns out it ends up being a large fifty piece album, but I'm not sure I even scratched the surface. Rain or shine hopefully the story is told.

Ok, trying something new today. Here’s a short video I made from Flat Out Friday this past Friday night at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. It’s an extremely fun event and I hope I captured some of essence of the event. Please let me know what you think.
