Cheers....well...got to visit some great distilleries on the west coast this past week.
Copper craft was small bit had some nice offerings...located in seattle close to pikes.
Westland distillery which is also in seattle..
Did a tour there and a great tasting...their whiskey leans more into scotch than I liked..but they are definitely doimg it differently..
Finally we hot woodenville...tastimg there and walked away with a Ginja cask...Ginja is a Portuguese berry that is turned into a liquer and stored in glass containers...Woodinville somehow used the Ginja casks and made this very interesting finish...kinda tart kinda sweet..very different and difficult from my conversation with the host....
There's many more in the area but time limits only allowed for 3 stops ..
