Eric is the principal designer and creative director at Crossfade Design, LLC. He got his start in the industry at the ripe age of 14. His mom was a rock singer in the Dallas area and he would help in the lighting and sound booth at her shows. By 16, he was working for a lighting company, building dimmers and consoles from scratch, and renting his own equipment to local bands. At 18, he was the LD for George Strait.

Today, Eric’s robust portfolio includes live events at arenas, convention centers, cruise ships and concert tours.

"I was watching the video of this officer who saved this baby life who was 3 months at the time, he was off duty headed home until he seen this white car flagged him, he stopped and this black lady jumped out her car holding her lifeless baby boy the officer immediately jumped outta his car took the baby outta her hands did CPR on the baby! He called for help and told the mother to jump in her car while he took the baby in his police car to a nearby hospital!! If it wasn't for this officer this baby would've never made it!! Thanks to this officer Jay Nix he saved the baby life!!

He posted a couple hours ago saying "HIS GOD SON" Is now 7 months old, and the baby spends the weekend with them and nights!! This baby was placed in his life for a reason....it's still good officers out here and it's not always about the color, this story was very touching ❤️🙏🏾❤️

The industry lost a giant this week. Many of us at Crossfade worked with Nook for decades. Not only was he incredibly talented but also a joy to be around. It’s hard to imagine our industry without Nook. You will be missed.
