Abyss was a powerful creature of living gas created by Aleph, one of the alien builders, along with her brother Ex Nihilo. The three creatures traveled the universe together, destroying planets they judged unworthy to continue. They came to Mars and began to terraform it into their base in the Solor System.

From there Ex Nihilo fired orgin bombs at Earth, terraforrming entire cities at once and killing everyone within. When the Avengers tried to stop them, Abyss bent the Hulk's mind to her will. When Captain Universe confronted her, Abyss recognized her power surrendered to her.

It was later revealed that her real name was Drusilla, a member of a race of similar creatures, of which she is the sole survivor. She and Ex Nihilo later joined the Avengers to stop the Builder Invasion.

First Appearance: Avengers issue 1 February 2013
Powers/Abilities: Abyss is made of living gas, which makes her invulnerable to most physical attacks. She can also manipulate the minds of others whom she envelopes in a sphere of gas

Marvel's Super heroes and villains part 2:
Absorbing Man

Seeking a pawn to use against his nemesis Thor, the Asgardian God Loki endowed brutal prisoner Crusher Creel and his ball and chain with the power to Absorb the physical properties of anything he touched. Creel broke out of prison and battled Thor as Loki intended. However, Creel overreached himself by trying to Absorb the power of the whole Earth and exploded.

Thanks to his new powers however Creel was not truly dead and Loki magically reassembled his body. Loki then enlisted the Absorbing Man as his ally in an attempt to overthrow Odin Monarch of Asgard but Odin banished Creel into outer space.

Over the years Absorbing Man has repeatedly battled Thor Hulk as well as Spider man and the Avengers. During the first secret war staged by the beyonder Creel met Mary Skeeter Macpherran (Titania) whom he later married

He was thought killed by Sentry during Civil War and it was soon after revealed that be was the father of stonewall of the secret warriors. Creel returned only to be depowered by Norman Osborn. During FEAR ITSELF a re powered Creel became Greithoth, breaker of wills one of Agents of destruction for the worthy

Powers: can magically duplicate within himself thr physical and mystical properties of anything he physically contacts including various forms of energy. If his body is broken into pieces while he is in a non human state he can mentally reassemble it.

MARVEL'S SUPERHEROES & VILLIANS PART 1: THE ABOMINATION

Born in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, Emil Blonsky became a spy and infiltrated the US Air Froce Base where scientists Bruce Banner was stationed and discovered gamma radiation equipment in which Banner intended to commit su***de. Irradiating himself, Blonsky became the monstrous Abomination. The Abomination battled the Hulk multiple times.

Their struggles were interrupted when the STRANGER kidnapped him into space for study, and wound up serving as the first mate of the starship Andromeda. After returning to Earth, he became the pawn of many villains, including MODOK, Mephisto, and Tyrannus.

The Abomination later revealed his new form to his wife, Nadia who then left him. Jealous of Banners apparent wedded Bliss, Blonsky poisoned Banner's wife Betty. Years later the Red Hulk secretly Betty's Father hunted down and murdered The Abomination with a special gun designed to kill the Hulk. During the chaos war Pluto freed the Abomination from the afterlife to fight for him but he was later destroyed.
