This morning on Springsteen On Sundayon 107.1 The Boss at the Jersey Shore more Summer Fun than should be allowed by law.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band wrapped up their wildly successful Reunion Tour 24 years ago at Madison Square Garden in New York City on 7/1//2000. The final show of the 10-night stand was one for the ages and it's a beautiful thing that we have it as part of the archive series. The first of July 1978 found E Street in Berkeley, California where they performed a show that would quickly become legend the following month via Dave Marsh's cover story in Rolling Stone. The tour had moved down to Los Angeles and there's a fascinating look at Bruce and the band going over a recording of the 7/1 show, that too would eventually find its way into the archive series some 43 years after the fact and will find its way onto the airwaves in fine style today.

I've watched Stevie Van Zandt: Disciple on HBO and or Max about 6,479 times in the past week, so expect to hear something from him today, and a visit to the Bottom Line is in order too.
