DJI TRANSMISSION HIGH-BRIGHT MONITOR COMBO

perfected sending video from drones, so now they’ve brought that tech to the ground—delivering a 20,000-foot long-range wireless experience.

With low-latency 1080p/60fps transmission, you can send video to unlimited standalone receivers or monitors with built-in receivers. We’ve got it all powered by P-Tap and Gold Mount batteries for reliable use.

The 1,500-nit monitor is bright enough for outdoor shooting, has a touchscreen for quick settings, and includes must-have tools like frame guides, false color, peaking, waveform, and custom 3D LUTs.

Each monitor also doubles as a 1080p recorder with a MicroSD slot for instant playback or proxy creation. In crowded environments, DJI’s system auto-hops to the strongest frequency.

APUTURE ELECTRO STORM CS15 & XT26

We’ve been waiting a long time for HMI M18 and M40 LED alternatives. With the .lighting CS15 and XT26 that time has come.

Not only does their output compete with 1800W and 4000W HMI’s, but they pack loads of other features. The CS15 is full color and the XT26 is bi-color + green / magenta control.

Both lights are compatible with a wide range of modifiers. Our kits offer three reflectors + barn doors, three spotlight Max lenses, and the motorized F14 fresnel that’s controllable from the ballast / Sidus / DMX.

Everything about these lights is large. The modifiers are large, the ballast is large, and the reflector and fresnel cases are VERY large. So plan your transport accordingly.

With their big size comes major features and reliability. The lights have built in CRMX for wireless control, they’re IP65 dust & water resistant, work flicker free with high speed cameras, and have amazing stepless low end dimming.

Electricians accustomed to punchy HMI’s will be familiar with the XT26 60A Bates power plug and 3000w power draw. But some Aputure users may need to learn about the new power and distro requirements. In just 5 years, Signature Primes have become a staple of modern commercial and narrative cinematography.

In terms of specs, they set the standard for excellence. Sharp, yet flattering. Modern, yet full of character. LF coverage, fast T1.8 aperture, no breathing, no distortion, warm skin tones and smooth contrast, bokeh, and fall-off.

We especially love their variability with the Impression V filters. The “V” is for vintage. These rear magnetic diopters detune the lenses by altering their focus characteristics.

With 4 strengths in each direction, the lenses take on an entirely new character. The positive diopters soften bokeh and create a dreamier look like Canon K35’s or Rangefinders. The negative diopters texture bokeh more like Cooke Panchros or Helios. The positives could be perceived as a “beauty” look, while the negatives could trend grittier. But of course, that’s for you to decide.

The Mercury’s are full frame, lightweight, compact, expressive 1.5X anamorphic lenses.
has officially met the need for cinema level anamorphics on smaller mirrorless cameras.

The Mercury’s especially shine on large format 16:9 sensors, creating a more traditional widescreen look.
Whereas 2X anamorphics would create a bizarre overly wide & thin aspect ratio.

But of course they can be used with any camera and sensor combo.

When flared, you get a soft golden streak. Distortion and breathing are present, but tasteful for the style.
Most of the lenses are under 4 lbs, with exceptional close focus below 3’ — the 32mm focusing to just 1.5’

The lenses retain the vintage look Atlas is known for, with pronounced stretched bokeh and soft falloff.
The Mercury’s truly open the door for anamorphic to be used with more productions & shooting styles.

FREEFLY EMBER S5K HIGH SPEED CAMERA

FINALLY a high speed cinema camera that functions like a normal camera!

Just press record to film continuously and get immediate playback. There’s no weird buffering, setting in/out points, tethering to a computer, needing a tech, or waiting.

For once, thanks to its ease of use and tiny 3LB body you can actually run & gun with the Ember.

This S35 camera has a global shutter and shoots 1011fps @ 4k 2:37:1, 800fps @ 4k, 616fps @ 5k, and 1487fps @ 2k.

If you’re waiting for the action to happen, the pre-record mode can run for up to 2 hours.

Its Sony E Mount makes the Ember adaptable to nearly any lens. The IOS app makes remote camera control, RSS, playback, and even image stabilization a breeze.

The Ember shoots 10-bit ProRes 422 LT from 100 - 400 ISO and the image is sharp and clean, with pleasing dynamic range.

It outperforms much more expensive high speed cameras that struggle from noisy shadows, worse dynamic range, and IR pollution (if you know, you know).

The Ember does have a few quirks worth noting.

The camera records to an internal 4TB SSD.
So DIT involves plugging the actual camera into a computer…not ideal.

There’s no SDI port, so you gotta use the single HDMI port for an external monitor.

Color options are either REC 709 or HLG Beta which have 11 stops of dynamic range, meaning there’s no LOG setting.

This is a tradeoff of high-speed imaging and is worth taking into account when planning and lighting scenes.

The Ember hits a sweet spot for high speed cinematography.

Its beautiful image, small form factor, and manageable file sizes make high quality, high speed shooting more accessible than ever before.

This groundbreaking camera has modern features like an articulating 4” LCD viewfinder and rechargeable / swappable batteries. The LCD screen allows precise image framing, light meter readings, and hosts the camera menu control.🎛️

Four frame rate options are available: 18, 24, 25, and even slo-mo up to 36 FPS.

Sound can be recorded in camera to an SD card slot at 24 & 25 FPS. There’s even an HDMI port for an on-board monitor or wireless video feed.🎥

Enter the EZ-3 45-165mm T2.3-3 in S35 and full frame 68-250mm T3.5-4.5. This new multi-format lens brings the same cinematic look and compact feel of the EZ line. Its newest innovation is the quick change IRO (Interchangeable Rear Optics) system that easily swaps from S35 to full frame in just 5 minutes. The FF rear optic can also act as a 1.5x extender in S35.

LAOWA PRO2BE 24MM T8 PROBE 3-LENS SET

The Laowa Pro2be lenses improve on their last probe design in nearly every way. The former series was T14, lacked sharpness, and looked somewhat “Gopro-ish.” The new series is now T8, has less distortion, better sharpness, and if you’re not shooting macro they look like a normal cinematic 24mm prime. This allows for seamless transitions from real life scenes into wild macro closeups, without compromising a filmic look.

But why 3 lenses?
The set includes the direct, 90° periscope, and 35° angle probes.
The periscope is great for fitting into tight areas and gliding along surfaces like a tabletop or low to the ground.

The direct lens is ideal for pushing straight toward an object or even through a hole or window.

The 35° lens is helpful when pushing into a scene where you still want to see action at an up or down angle.
With the 360° mount rotation you can even attach them sideways or at different angles for crazy perspectives; looking straight down or even around a corner. Simply panning with a probe lens adds unique movement to a shot as if you’re on a dolly.

From 27mm to 120mm these primes carry a pronounced swirl wrapping emphatically around center frame.
The intensity of the effect can be adjusted with a user tuneable “Bokeh Control” ring from 1 to 7; a unique feature shared only by the rare Arri Heroes Look lenses.
The Petzval lens traces back to 1840 when Joseph Petzval created the first ever portrait lens. The Pentax SMC lenses have been so popular we wanted to share some extra frames from our test shoot by and . They filmed at the Parthenon in Centennial Park with talent .considine and to showcase the soft bokeh in a natural setting and the 15mm in a wide space with depth and lines.
Photographer came away with these thoughts:
“I really enjoyed the separation the lens provided for my subjects from the background, but paired in the sunlight, the bokeh was insane! I always have loved a cinematic look to the images I take and these lenses did the job above and beyond what I thought. A truly remarkable set, it was an honor to shoot with them.”

This is the first ever rehoused set made fully of Pentax SMC lenses thanks to . This full frame 9 lens set represents Pentax’ best and fastest primes from the 70’s - 90’s M, A, and FA series. Retaining the striking character of the preceding Takumar series from the 50’s and 60’s, the SMC’s are bursting with vivid color, contrast, and sharpness.

While known for their SMC coating to reduce glare, the lenses have some of the most striking and complex gold, magenta, green, and blue flares we’ve seen from spherical primes. Similarly impressive is the buttery smooth bokeh; especially prevalent on the 50mm T1.5, 85mm T1.5, and 135mm T1.9 super speeds.

There are so many amazing rehoused vintage lenses out there. It’s surprising Pentax has been relatively overlooked. We’re excited to create an opportunity to see why the SMC’s are every bit as special as vintage Cookes, Canons, Zeiss and other legendary optics.
