White Gloves x Latex Gauntlets is a multi-platform social media outlet publicizing links and information relevant to local art, entertainment and fashion industries. It's specifically geared toward generating awareness of those who'd like attention for their creative projects through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest & Tumblr. I wanted to create a centralized place where everyone can share t
heir success, and we can read about your latest work. It's for models, musicians, body painters, dancers, hoopers, makeup artists, hairstylists, wardrobe designers and graphic artists. I also welcome writers, poets, tattoo artists, photographers, cosplayers, computer illustrators, stage actors & actresses, burlesque performers, illusionists, and anyone with input into the creative process contributing to published pieces. This was created initially with Tennessee-based models in mind, to collect their published features in a central location; i.e. magazine name, month, issue #, and where to find it. I then began including artists, whose paintings and books are often for sale through various online sources, as well as photographers and studios whose work is often in collaboration with the aforementioned models. This evolved into many other areas. Those with products for personal adornment such as clothing, jewelry, makeup or creams / lotions are welcome. If you're a musician who's been featured in a magazine or book, we want to know! If you're a publicist, manager or promoter, this new media outlet might help you too! Casting calls or band auditions, photo contests, and press releases are all welcome. There are so many forms of artistic expression that can wind up in a magazine or book that I want to include everybody - so if you've played a part in anything cool and would like us to know about it, put it up! Please, no comments intended to put down another person or group. Anything I deem derogatory or malicious will be deleted.
