Announcement:

With HDC-F5500 "Venice Live" and HDC-5500 2/3" 4K heads, we can provide a 100% Super35mm or broadcast look to any project with our trucks or fly packs now (or any combination of both). The missing piece of the puzzle was, for a while, fast, long glass. With the arrival of our new Fujinon Duvo 25-1000mm lenses, the puzzle is complete and I can say with no doubt, our entertainment truck shoots will be the best looking in existence.

S35 isn't right for every show; I'd say the Duvo provides decent range from camera to subject up to about 150' in our parking lot tests (before you're living at the extreme end of its focal length). Also there are occasions, for example: a high-and-wide, cable cam, reverse shots, where a deeper depth of field IS desirable.

The point is we're 100% equipped for both now with wide, medium, and long glass for any sensor. So keep us in mind for your next truck or fly pack shoot!
