The garage got an 8 hour pressure washing and reorg today, almost all lawn items are being evicted to the shed. And I haven’t even touched any of my liquids this year, they are still in the basement lol.

A v8’s worst nightmare is an AWD SC Audi! Big shout out to for their tuning, turns your car into a monster, and with the help of an upper pulley and intake, this daily driver is cracking off sub 4 second 0-60s all day!

Good news! If you have been following the story of the shredder that broke in the library's Tech Center, you know that public paper shredding was temporarily unavailable earlier this week. The library was able to replace the public shredder today, and shredding is now available again to you. If you have a chance, please do stop by and see this very large shredder.

If you would like to shred some personal papers, you are welcome to visit the Computer Help Desk on the second floor of the library, show your library card, and use the shredder in the Tech Center. To make sure that the shredder is available during your visit, it is highly recommended that you call the Computer Help Desk at (708) 428-5171 to make a reservation to use the shredder before visiting the library.

Please paper only. NO plastic of any kind. The shredder can do a maximum of 22 sheets of paper at once.

*The purpose of the Today’s Business Solutions, Inc. Tech Center is to provide Orland Park Public Library cardholders and reciprocal borrowers in good standing with a space where they may use various digital media technologies which support their educational, professional, and personal goals and endeavors.

*Patrons must leave their Orland Park Public Library card or reciprocal borrower card with the IT staff at the IT Commons service desk while using the equipment. The specific equipment being used will be checked out on the card while the patron occupies the Tech Center.

The “fidget spinner” is almost a thing of the past.

This was a full blown flower garden that was full of w**ds and flowers, getting tired of mowing around it I decided it was finally time to pull the trigger.

I removed the flowers I wanted to keep and planted them around the house in other places. Then I sprayed what was left with glyphosate a few times over the next weeks, tilled it all up and added 100 pounds of pulverized top soil mixed with compost and fine sand from Tim Wallace Landscape Supply.

Finished it off with a TTFF mix from Mountain View Seeds and kept it moist. It’s growing in great! Another few days and it will be ready to be mowed!
