Another year on Nantucket.🥂🫡 It’s truly been an honor to share my island life with you all. This year brought me so much happiness in words I can’t describe. Personally, i did more things that i wanted to do. Decided it was time to take different leaps of faith’s. Try new things. With that, came unexpected outcomes that made me realize that there is no limit to creativity. Of course I couldn’t haven’t done it without the support of you all. Happy New Year and can’t wait to share another year of my island living with you.

My Nantucket Life…the real me.📸⚓️ I’m sure many of you know me as the photographer. The guy who just came out of nowhere…

On this tiny island in the middle of the ocean.

It’s funny to look back and remember the exact day I said I wanted to show people “The Nantucket I see.”

Sure, I was nervous. The vision-my visual of the island was something i didn’t think people would understand.

It’s hard to describe in words, how Nantucket changed me. In a way I wanted to show people.

I’ll be honest, I feared people would look at me in a way that it was “that’s not how the island aesthetic is supposed to be.”

What I mean by that is….not the typical way the island supposed to be. In a picture perfect world.

To be completely honest, I was just a farm boy. 🌾 Living and working on a farm year round. An island farm boy. Who enjoyed karaoke 🎤 and getting the occasional Jameson 🥃 on the rocks.

In 2020, I just wanted to get out of the house. Bored and with the world in lockdowns. Nature, the ocean breeze was a way for me to feel a sense of comfort. The salty air gave me an escape. To dream of something more.

Through that, I started taking photo’s. Instagram and the social media world was booming. Everyone was on it. To make sense of this situation we all were in.

Sitting on a dune at Miacomet Beach, I used the opportunity to share positive thoughts. “Better Days Ahead.” Which I wrote into the sand. ✍️

Little did I know…..from then on my life would change. Through pictures,videos, my life. Sharing my life. On such a remote island in the middle of the ocean.🌊

Life on Nantucket for myself is a place. A feeling. A place that changed me. Little did I know, it would change others as well.

For that, I thank you.🥹🙏⚓️

I said to myself….”This year’s POV is much different than last year.” Last year I as standing in a store window 🪟. This year?

Standing next to CNN 🎥 with reporters sticking cameras in every possible angle. Some even taking a photo through my armhole.🤣

No matter what side of politics you are on…. This was a chapter I wanted to close. Go big- or go home.🤞

After the Secret Service TikTok that went viral in 2021 ➡️ to last years President Biden TikTok that went even more viral.

What a whirlwind. I consider this the end of a chapter but the start of a new book.📕 Anything is possible.📸
