The biggest problem and failure of the brothers War expansion for Magic the Gathering is the Retro artifacts. Especially inside of the collector boosters, so many of the slots end up being the Retro artifacts that they are near worthless now. Out of a box of collector boosters I pulled seven rare foil retro framed artifacts, not a single one worth more than $5. On top of that they absolutely decimated the value of the original cards, Mox Amber which was sitting comfortably at about $50- $60 is now down to $30 just by how many have been pulled.
I really wish that they would have made it where the rare retro artifact had a chance of being foil and maintained the hit slot of The Collector boosters to pull the extended for borderless foils.
The Brother's War just seems like a great set with a very poor ex*****on.
