Here is our StormTeam2 VIPIRCAST look at Saturday (1-3)....rain threat ramps up through the day, with the highest rain chance mid to late afternoon. Most of the rain should be offshore by 8-9pm. We could easily see 1/2-1" of much needed rainfall Sat.

11/9 - SOUTH CAROLINA - Strong Storm Threat for the Low Country Sunday Evening: The cold front expected to bring freeze conditions for the Low Country will kick off showers and thunderstorms as it moves through.

With temperatures in the low 80s and higher relative humidity, the approaching cold front will have the fuel and moisture necessary to initiate strong thunderstorms. Embedded within the larger complex of thunderstorms, a few isolated pockets could see quarter sized hail and 60 MPH wind gusts. Frequent lightning and heavy rain will likely be widespread.

Cold air then moves in over a 24 hour period through Monday. By Monday evening, temperatures will likely reach at or below freezing across the low country. A Freeze Watch has been issued from Monday evening through Tuesday morning by the National Weather Service in Charleston. High Temperatures will struggle to reach the lower 50s for Tuesday afternoon.

By Wednesday, highs will start to crawl back into the low to mid 60s. Make sure to bring in sensitive plants by tonight, and bring in your pets!
