5:50 PM CDT RADAR UPDATE
Non-severe thundershowers are beginning to move into Northwestern Alabama ahead of the cold front, bringing moderate to heavy rainfall and a few rumbles of thunder at times. As we head later into the evening, the line will continue to move into the area bringing an isolated chance of damaging winds up to 60 MPH, this threat is relatively low and most of our storms should stay sub-severe through the evening and overnight hour-frame. Remember that a wind advisory is still in effect until 3PM Monday afternoon for gradient wind gusts (NON-THUNDERSTORM RELATED) up to 45 MPH likely, as the system continues to push through the region. Stay Weather Aware This Evening And Have Ways Of Getting Warnings Just In Case Something Does Pop Up! I will be here monitoring the weather conditions throughout tonight, if anything pops up, I will be sure to let you know!
