What a run… 3 years ago today we launched Greetings from the Garden State, a podcast that literally changed my life. This show has taken me all over the state and introduced me to places I love and even more people who have become lifelong friends.

From our first few episodes with , and to our live events at and our first ever Jersey Fest at to the launch of , there was no way I could have ever anticipated how much of an impact this show has had.

Thank you to all of our incredible guests (we’re about to hit 150 episodes on Tuesday), our listeners, followers, and everyone else who has supported and engaged with what we’ve been doing.

Thank you to the for the incredible support over the last year and to for being our longest running supporter!

The biggest thank you, of course, to the love of my life for being an absolute rockstar cheerleader, supporter, and sounding board for all of my crazy ideas. I love you so much.

We’ve had a lot of new visitors here lately so I wanted to reintroduce myself.

I’m Mike Ham, founder and host of Greetings From the Garden State and the founder and CEO of Ham Radio Productions.

I’ve coached college baseball, earned an MBA, ran an indoor sports facility and sold title insurance. When I started podcasting to help grow my network during 2020, I did not know the path it was about to take me on.

We launched GFTGS in October 2021. Almost two years later to the day we brought on as our title sponsor, but then literally the next day I got laid off from my full time job.

When the universe speaks, it’s important to listen. Since then this show has taken me to places and introduced me to people I never thought possible, we launched Ham Radio Productions earlier this year and are already working with a 50-year-old Irish pub on their relaunch, an emerging artist with her social content, and developing a show for a Union and it’s members.

On this page you’re not going to get hollow lists or pay-to-play recommendations, you’re going to get real stories from the people and places shaping NJ. We’re the heart of Jersey pride and we will always be here to bring that to our listeners and followers!
