Kind of weird looking but super smart idea for potato salad or egg salad. No peeling!

Saw this on a friend’s page 🤯
I saw this online earlier today and decided to try it. Works like a charm! I'm making potato salad and needed 8 boiled eggs, chopped. Did you know you can just crack them in a bowl and put the whole bowl in the pot of water?
No ice bath or peeling required. The resulting bowl-shaped egg loaf is initially horrifying, but once you chop it up, it's wonderful! I sprayed the bowl with Pam, placed it on the little wire rack thing and put 1 cup water inside the pot (not inside the bowl.) I cooked it on manual for 5 minutes with a natural release.
Edit: I used a glass Pyrex bowl. I have a set of 3 mixing bowls and I used the smallest one.

I went on a bit of a baking bender this weekend. Pepperoni rolls, and then using the same ingredients, but chopping the pepperoni up with some jalapeños, I made some role-ups and a loaf of bread.

I also had some fresh cranberries I made into a simple cranberry sauce and after it cooled overnight swirled it with cream cheese and baked it on a crumb crust with a crumb topping. Added a drop of orange oil and the peel of an orange and we have cranberry orange cream cheese bars. Yum!

My mom bought these for my classroom and let me tell you, the kids LOVE them. They had to be taught how to build because they initially wanted to just stack the flowers into a very tall flower tower, but with the simple instructions and a little support, they make the sweetest garden areas. I also love the little pieces to create longer stems, that aren't included in other versions of this toy. The children make a garden and we display it until the next day when they start all over. Despite the ad suggestion, my BOYS and GIRLS enjoy them equally! At a little over 40% off, I strongly recommend these for home or classroom. They are sweet, engaging, and fun.

EDIT: This is a very sharp tool and would require total supervision. I am revising my recommendation and although I love it at home, I will be looking for something more suitable for the classroom.

Here is another biggie. This is a huge discount for a pack of three. I have these in my "quiet corner" in my library area of my classroom. Rules for these are you have to be sitting in the library to use them, and preferably in the quiet corner. They are not aloud to touch the floor (because kiddos skate on anything lol) and they need to be put away as soon as you are finished. I have had the same set for two years which is phenomenal for a class size of 20.

It isn't fancy but it does the job and the price is right. My hubby bought me one and I LOVE it. I have used the fancy ones and ugh, they pale in comparison to not having to wait for water to heat to being able to make a 12 oz and follow it with a six from the same pod for a supersize cup of joe. I just really love the simplicity of not fancy. :) (I grabbed a couple reusable pods from Walmart so no pricey boxes of pods every week or so.)

30% off. I replace my Playdoh about every eight weeks. They love to mix it up. I cringe, lol. By the time I replace it, it is an odd shade of dark marbled grey. But, I don't only replace it because it's all one color, I also consider the funky factor. Even thought they have to wash hands before and after, it is still nice to have "clean" Playdoh.

I am super in love with this little continent globe. I have recently purchased it for my classroom (we are studying climates and habitats). Someone suggested it was too advanced for PreK. Nope! If we are teaching them 26 upper and lowercase letters, counting to thirty, beginning learning letter sounds, rhyming, name writing, etc., learning about the round earth that spins around the mobile sun and has seven continents on it, isn't too advanced. Give our kiddos some credit!

This teaching year has been very dynamic. Last week we began what will become "Cooking Thursday." Our first adventure was applesauce. A parent shared a child safe kitchen set of tools, and with much supervision, each of my students cut up an apple and added it to the crock pot. After cooking down all day, we had a delicious applesauce for afternoon snack. Thank to my third grade friend, Tessa, for helping us out with the serving.
