Some girls get jewelry for Christmas . I got dog agility equipment 🐾🐾
Now that weather is improving I have to try and get fake grass or something to put down somewhere so that landscapers don’t mess with it all once it is down.

Any suggestions for ground cover recommendations or sites to buy it at welcomed.

Feed stores have started selling baby ducks, we are already getting surrender calls. People walk in, see a cute fluffy duck and buy on impulse thinking theyll raise it and that it can end with dropping the animal off at the nearest lake when it gets bigger. It’s unfortunately not that simple. Doing that leads to that ducks death. When not hatched by a mother, they aren't waterproof so they will drown, cannot go under a mom to stay warm and can't get away from predators as they don't fly.

Do you know most are sold as assorted because it's mostly drakes? What are you going to do if you wind up with 1 girl and the rest drakes? Most of our calls are drake surrenders, we can't be a drake dumping ground and still keep our girls safe and our dalton location who typically runs the all male flocks still has drakes surrendered from 4 years ago, it's difficult to get drakes in safe homes.

Ducks sold as pets are domesticated animals, just like cats, and dogs. They don’t have the same survival skills as their wild counterparts and can’t fly, migrate, or avoid predators.

Unless you’re prepared for a lifelong commitment to a new pet, skip the live bunnies, chicks, and ducklings, and opt for chocolate instead. If you're looking for ducks please reach out. From us you will already know the genders and not have it be a guessing game.

Do you also know as you see those cute fluffy ducklings or chick's that in that shipping box some arrived doa? Live animals should not be shipped as many don't survive it. If shipping these were no longer allowed, our intake numbers would drastically decrease.

Friday night’s entertainment was Sebastian trying to play with the babies

The two Willow babies’ first visit downstairs. Handled being around all the BRTs like they have always known them. Climbing up the sides to meet nose to nose.Grooming with high power pet dryers in next room did not phase them. Doing dishes noise , they slept through ! Great babies

Full out chases. Got to love the speed of the mini poodles esp when the male has made the female mad 🤪🤪🤪energy galore today

Poodles in the mix always increase the energy level 🙃🙃
