I first reached out to ZLeauge tournaments with a concern. I played in their tournaments daily for days and weeks. It was my Zen it took me away from the pain and sorrow and sense of loss and complete hopelessnes. I survived being partially ejected from a 16ft box truck about this time last year.
I got home from the Emergency Room that day and find out the day prior my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 liver, lung, and blood cancer. She survived for 6 weeks before it entered her brain. Then she fought for another 6 days until I was there to be the one to tell her it's time to not hurt anymore and it was her time to "Go Home" the last to words she uttered as she left through the window into her new home was "Ok Home"
Then when I have been struggling the most with just trying to stay positive and not want to as mom called it "Go Home" although mine will never be hers. As I try to honor the old gods and ancestors in hopes of going on the Valhalla. I get an email reaching out to see if I was ok from the ZLeauge contact asking if things were ok.
I was briefly honest with just a few of the trials I have been through in the last 12 months. What he doesn't know is that is barely the tip of the iceberg which sink the Titanic. The staff then donated 10 credits to my account so I can get back at it and make the best of a painful situation. I can't express how thankful, honored, confused, and uncannily shocked.
