Setting healthy, clear boundaries are not for other people they are for your safety, guarding your inner peace, sanity, health, and happiness.

Remember it is not a punishment for others. They may feel that it is so it’s natural for them to miss the “old” you.

So remember if someone is not happy with how you choose to live your life, it is a sure sign that you need to take good care of yourself, continue reinforcing your boundaries, don't take anything they do or say personally (because it's about their perception).

Not everyone is meant to be in our lives to the end so when someone brings pain, suffering, and disrespect to your life, “adjust your life to their absence” and wish them well from afar. ❤️

So when someone repeatedly is dishonest, abusive, disrespectful, or manipulative, it’s up to you to stop playing in their game.

You’re not a victim. You are being victimized, but never take on the title of victim to describe yourself.
