‼️⚠️SIGNIFICANT TORNADO OUTBREAK LIKELY SATURDAY🌪⚠️‼️

STRONG TO VIOLENT TORNADOES LIKELY as a very potent negative-tilted trough will eject over the Lower Mississippi River Saturday by early afternoon. SPC has upgraded to a LEVEL 4 Risk.

Supercells that can tap the higher surface dewpoints and stay within or near the axis of the low-level jet should be able to produce long-track EF3+ tornadoes, and several of these will be possible.

Have a way to get immediate weather information and to be weather aware! This could be a very dangerous day across Dixie Alley.

REMEMBER: A lot of you in the higher end severe weather risks will NOT see any severe weather tomorrow. But it is certainly best to be over prepared than disappointed your home gets wiped off the map, your neighbors may not be so lucky.

"Nado-Cast" for tomorrow is alarming!! 😲😲😲

All ingredients appear to be present for a very long and DANGEROUS day tomorrow across portions of DIxie Alley and the Deep South. Now the biggest question is timing. An earlier show may mean more storm interactions and mergers that may be distributive of these ingredients.

Several rounds of supercells and storm clusters will move over a rapidly regenerating tornadic environment. Will have a round storms in the morning & late evening. ISOLATED/LOW RISK FOR A BRIEF TORNADO AND GUSTY WINDS THIS AFTERNOON🌪

Remant showers and storms will move across the Deep South/Gulf Coast through the late morning and early afternoon. Some hi-res models do hint in some reinvigoration of these storms by late afternoon. Limited instability will likely hinder storm organization, but sufficient shear will be present for a brief tornado and some gusty downdrafts!

Saturday could be a POTENT Severe Weather day across the area.

‼️⚠️🌪SEVERE/TORNADO OUTBREAK QUITE POSSIBLE FOR SATURDAY ACROSS DIXIE ALLEY🌪⚠️‼️

Strong/Long Track Tornadoes, Damaging Winds, and Large Hail will be possible as a potent negatively-tilted trough and leading wave will move across the Lower-Mississippi River Valley and The Deep South. Classic pattern recognition for the risk of a Wintertime Tornado Outbreak in Dixie.

There is some uncertainty regarding moisture return, morning convection, and widespread cloud cover. These high-end severe threats have numerous fail-modes. But, the ingredients appear ripe for significant severe weather, but we know how Mother Nature throws curveballs.
