SATURDAY MORNING TORNADO RISK🌪️- Chances for storms to be capable of producing a couple of tornadoes will last well into Friday Night and into your Saturday Morning, especially confined to a stationary boundary that will exist across Eastern Mississippi into Central Alabama. However, there is some uncertainty about previous storms "zapping" the instability out of the atmosphere. The greatest risk for tornadoes will exist between 6am-12pm Saturday Morning.

DIXIE ALLEY SEVERE THREAT🌩: Latest Update on the severe weather threat has now included more of East Texas through this afternoon and into the early-evening hours. Multiple rounds of storms are expected to move NEward. A few of these storms may become supercells, capable of producing tornadoes INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS as the low-level jet increases (thus increasing wind-shear). Not every storm will be severe or capable of producing tornadoes, and not everyone in the risk zones will see severe weather. But this means the environment supports it.

NO SLEEPING NAKED TONIGHT‼... Tornadoes at night can sneak up on you. Have a plan to receive warnings, even when you are sleeping.

TORNADO WEATHER TO SNOW❄😲‼ ....

The weather in Oklahoma is notorious for changing in the blink of an eye! At least TWO TORNADOES were reported in Oklahoma on Thursday Morning, and 24 hours later, we could see snow falling in the Sooner State. Nothing unusual for crazy Oklahoma weather, especially with strong weather systems.

A small disturbance will be out of the Texas/Oklahoma Panhandles and will be weakening with time, but it will likely be strong enough to give the Panhandles 1-3" of snow, and perhaps some travel issues with Blowing Snow.

May go out and chase this tomorrow evening if I can make it to the snow before the system weakens.

FRIDAY/NIGHT SEVERE AND TORNADO RISK🌪️: Severe & Tornado Threat across the Lower-MS River Valley to the Central Gulf Coast for your Friday Afternoon and into the Nighttime Hours. SPC has highlighted a "Level 2-Slight Risk" for tornadoes and damaging winds with multiple rounds of storms lasting well into Friday Night.

While overall severe & tornado threat will remain isolated in nature (meaning NOT EVERYONE IN THE RISK WILL SEE SEVERE WEATHER), it is a reminder to NOT SLEEP NAKED‼ during overnight tornado risks in Dixie Alley.
