For 6 years, DLC has operated as a two-person team supported by subcontractors. We are now looking to add a third person to our tight-knit crew.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, collaborative, and innovative. This person will assist DLC with pre-production, production, post-production and associated administrative duties for commercial video projects, podcasts, live-streams, and photography services. They will play a part in client onboarding, scheduling, and customer service. They will assist Drew on set with projects and will grow to independently run smaller projects (ie. simple livestreams, and podcasts).

They will also help produce and manage content for the studio. Prior experience in the following job duties is valuable to us. However, for the right candidate, training can be provided to fill any gaps in knowledge and experience.

Here's some BTS from our shoot with Elevate Internet that featured Colorado Boy.

We had an amazing opportunity to fill the whole restaurant with extras to film the b-roll for this project. It's awesome when that many people can be coordinated to make an amazing final video. Also, with organizations this cool, the stories tell themselves!

I seriously love our community, and it's been an honor to be able to highlight so many of the wonderful people who do business here. For me, that's why "It's Better Here".

This was the "hero shot" from our recent video campaign for Elevate Internet. We're really proud of how it came out!

But it wasn't easy. This one shot (a total of about 3 seconds) took HOURS! Here's a breakdown:

- We scouted the location, conceptualized the shot, and planned the timing based on the expected positioning of the sun (1hr drive each way, 1 hr scouting).
- We all got up at 3 am and packed the truck for the shoot.
- Traveled to the site at 5am.
- Horses arrived at 5am.
- Set up for the shot at 5:45am.
- Waited... and waited.. and waited....
- Did a trial run. Then two actual runs.
- Edited the shot in DaVinci Resolve (color on this shot alone took almost as long as the rest of the video)

Lot of work, but it's WORTH IT!

Finally have a desk setup that I love...

This is my main work station for editing, emailing, zoom calls, and podcasting/content creation.

Some of this gear overlaps for production, but most of it can live at the desk, which is super nice.

Don't mind the mess on the floor! 😆
