Was a nice surprise seeing my picture in the Monterey Herald playing alongside Brad Mallory an area staple to the live music scene who puts this together with Jacqueline Kabat. Being involved with Tribe since I moved here in 2018 has been a pleasure. I love joining in with such a dedicated group of artists and music fans. Thanks Beth Peerless for the great article and helping fuel live music. Here is an edited informative excerpt from her piece which she does weekly.
"Whether you’re a longtime local musician or new to the area and looking for a place to meet new people, or a place to showcase some new music, or just to jam on any well-known song. The presenting folks from Tribe in the Sky, a loose knit group of people who gather every Tuesday, are celebrating seven years of doing so. At its latest location, Bulldog Sports Bar at 611 Lighthouse Ave., New Monterey, the event has evolved into a place where comedians and storytellers can get up onstage and do their thing between music sets."
