Ah, would you look at that- another person telling me "just relax."
Happy Wellness Wednesday. I hope you're treating yourself well and if not, focus on treating yourself better a little more every day. Always remember your feelings are valid. All feelings are okay. Healthy expression is even greater. Practice mindfulness. Gratitude. Journaling. Breathing or Yoga. Blowing bubbles. Eating candy. Talk to a friend. Bilateral stimulation. Head squeezes. Whatever it takes to be safe and healthy cope.
Mental health disorders are as real as physical ailments, disorders and diseases, yet the conversations regarding mental health is severely lacking in our society. Allowing yourself the opportunity to talk about your feelings, your diagnosis if you want without judgement or pressure, accepting mental health as health in order to focus on replenishing your brain. It's ok not to be ok. Choose hope over pain. Talk about it. Write about it. Don't just hold it in thinking about it. Pull out the weeds and replant the seeds to heal, glow and grow. Grow yourself. Most importantly, love yourself as you. Your mental health doesn't define you.
