Jeremy Sharp is a professional level musician with over 20 years experience both on stage, and off stage, as well as in the studio. A 6th generation guitar player he picked up his first guitar at the early age of 10. Heavily influenced early on by the classic rock and blues sounds of artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Johnny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. His playing a
bilities evolved rather quickly as he seemed to have a natural knack for the instrument.. Growing up in a small town in Michigan, Jeremy spent most of his free time with a guitar in his hands. By the age of 13 he was already playing with with his heroes on the radio note for note. As time went on he began to evolve again as a musician and heavier music became a prevalent influence on him. Bands such as Pantera, Metallica, Megadeth, Slipknot, Testament began to take a forefront in his listening. In the late 2000's he co-formed a metal band out of Michigan named ''The Bearded Bastards'' where he was the lead music writer for the band, after playing with them for a couple years the members parted ways and a few years later Jeremy teamed up with a couple other guys and formed the current ASSAULT INC. Where he plays the role of Lead Guitar and Lead song writer/ music writer for the band. Put out 1 full length album to date and has shared the stage with many nationally touring acts such as Hatebreed, Devildriver, American Head Charge, Machine Head, Butcher Babies,and Psykostik. They also won the grand prize of the 2015 "Rock Fights" in Toledo, Ohio. Jeremy's guitar playing continues to evolve and get better continuously. He is credited with writing over 100 original songs and melodies in many different styles of music. His playing style being very unique in the way of mixing deep blues roots with heavy metal fury. He is a very aggressive player with the soul to match.
