I was going to wait until Saturday which is supposed to be my post day on Facebook for my publishing business, but I decided to write an announcement today.

My debut novel, "EVA'S PROMISE" is now available. It launched on August 24th, four days before my lead characters' wedding anniversary (August 28th). You can get it in paperback & e-book (Amazon), or hardback (BN & Amazon). Links for purchase will be listed below this post. If you buy a copy, I ask that you please finish reading it and leave a review on Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Don't just buy it and then don't finish reading, or just buy and put it in your drawer or closet.

Please read it through and be supportive. It would be very appreciated. Reviews are important to authors, and especially indie authors like me. The fewer reviews a book gets the lower the ranking and the book price will also quickly drop because of it. (Amazon is especially known for doing this . . .) That's what happened to my original copy when it was titled, WITH YOU FOREVER. If you're skeptical of buying a copy, you can also get a free ARC copy through Booksprout, which is a PDF, but there are only 19 left and you must also give a review for the book afterward. Reviews through Booksprout are due by OCTOBER 15TH.

EVA'S PROMISE is a story that took a lot of time, energy, and medical research for the sake of my husband character Andre who suffers from a severe brain injury. It wasn't an easy novel to write for a reserved person like myself, but I wanted to write a story that tells the truth, points out important topics like the difference between true love and lust, which are too often blended as the same thing in our society, and upholds marriage principles according to God, which is somewhat rare in Christian fiction books. Your help would be appreciated as you all (the FC saints) are the main ones, if not the only ones who would agree with the contents of the book.

If you don't mean to be genuinely kind and supportive, then please, don't buy or download a copy. I need people who will help cheer me on, not be jealous or discourage me and my writing. Again, thanks for any support.

📘IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT❗:

Risen Halo Publishing is currently in the the process of revising our debut novel, formerly titled "WITH YOU FOREVER." This title will no longer be distributed once we are ready to reupload our new files. So, if you would like a copy of the original, the time to get it would be now. Otherwise, you can wait for the new edition (which you probably should. It'll be much better than the first one...lol 😅)

The Saga begins . . .

The Hallelujah Praise Series is an Urban Christian fiction trilogy, and the beginning of another spin-off Christian drama series titled The Words by Heart Saga, which involves many of the same cast of characters from the trilogy in Saint Vincent, a fictional community imagined near Harlem, New York. The story begins with Pastor Isaiah Johnson and his troubles with the Grim Reapers street gang. He's also juggling with problems in his family, including his beloved wife Cordelia who was the church's choir director; but unfortunately dies from acute leukemia, and their three estranged daughters: Genesis, Chandra, and Denice, all of which were raised in the local church, but over time had gone astray.

For many years, Isaiah and Cordelia--who he calls 'Lucy'--prayed and hoped their girls would return back to their church roots. Although Isaiah lost faith they would, he is haunted by the disappearance of eldest daughter Genesis, who ran away when she was sixteen and hasn't been seen since.

A written letter his wife left behind after her death sends him on a journey to reconcile with their daughters, beginning with their youngest, Denice, who is trapped in an abusive relationship with her "fiance" Russell Black. Will Isaiah reconcile with his daughters, and will he and his committee and congregation be able to renovate the church?
