Good news, ladies and gentlemen! Apparently, the mayor pleaded guilty. "As part of the plea, Crocker said Nail was ordered to pay $4,000 in restitution, a $2,500 fine, perform 120 hours of community service and will be on probation for 15 years, which prohibits working for any public or governmental entity during probation." 🇺🇸🫡

Mayor Kenneth Nail of Hanceville, Alabama, has resigned and pleaded guilty to charges alleging he used city employees and inmates for private labor.

This is a God damn joke.. I don't care if the difference between paper pushers in the VHA, VBA, or any other 3 letter agency geared towards helping veterans whether they be non-profit or for. You give millions away in education benefits to veterans that never existed. You fail veterans everyday when you deny health-care or benefits owed to veterans. Better yet, you have time and money to play shark tank trying to create more "nonprofits" that do nothing but line your own pockets. You can't fund the VA or any other organization to help, yet you're trying to create more organizations with the same thing in mind.

Four months is a joke of the system itself. We all know if it were anyone else they'd be doing a lot more time than that. It seems to be lately that it is always "rules for thee, and not for me." I wonder when people will start to notice.

Spend $3000 all for a technicality.

Ironically enough, there was one body camera footage in that entire courthouse. Multiple law enforcement officers and the video in court couldn't be found. Definitely not the camera footage of the officer that I put my back to and literally gave myself up to saying "Put your handcuffs on me". The problem here in Alabama is that taxpayers spend millions of dollars on body camera footage that "doesn't exist" or dash cameras that (as I was told by a Mobile Police officer, that none of MPD has dash cameras in their vehicles.

At that point I'm sure I could have walked in cussed someone and still walked out with a lower fee than this. Ironically, they gave me a $50 dollar charge for resisting arrest. Such a hardened criminal I am, having to pay $50.
