On Suday, I was the speaker for HIV Awareness Sunday at St. Peter United. My topic was Leading with Love and I shared my thoughts around how the church can address HIV as a social justice issue, empowered St. Peter congregants to participate in HIV education activities, and discussed what we can do to better understand the church's role in advocating for our siblings who are impacted by HIV/AIDS, just as I believe, Christ would. It was a privilege to have the opportunity to share with our congregation and launch our Inclusive Faith project!

Shelley! Girl! When we met eight years ago, you said you were looking for a 'companion'. While you never truly explained to me what that was code for, we decided to kick it and see what evolved. During this time, Shelley went on to found Be Owt Ministries, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting financial literacy and resource allocation in underserved communities. I am profoundly grateful to The Normal Anomaly Inc. and the Project Liberate program. Through their guidance, I was able to articulate clearly my mission by sharing my personal story. Project Liberate provided the essential support I needed to overcome my fears and doubts, empowering me to develop a non-profit organization focused on addressing the needs of Black girls. I am excited to announce the launch of Self Actualized, Inc. in Fall 2024!
