Camas Magazine cultivates a community of writers and artists dedicated to land heath and cultural resilience in the American West. Founded by graduate students in 1992, we aim to highlight fresh ideas and perspectives while remaining rooted in the landscapes and traditions of art and literature in the American West. We want to celebrate the people who work and live here; we want to celebrate the l

and that connects us all; and we want to provide an opportunity for emerging writers and artists to publish their work alongside established voices.
