Hey folks!
Well, it’s been a week since we launched the “Save the Wax Museum” Kickstarter, and we got our first funding goal in a matter of days! That’s just a testament to the strength and awesomeness of the audience of this show. It’s really hard to believe.
But now that we have hit our $5000 funding goal, we are reaching for what we call “stretch goals” - the more money that we raise, the more we can achieve for the show. We will be able to afford more and better equipment for broadcast- including web-cams for video live stream shows down the line, better turntables for quality sound representation of vinyl albums, microphones for hosts and guests; furniture for the studio (such as desks, shelves for vinyl, a couch for guests, a mini-fridge for refreshments for guests) and one of the biggest expenses, paying for rent and utilities of our new space. (Rent, power, internet bills) the more money we have in our coffers, the less we have to worry month-to-month as we build our network.
So let me tell you, sharing the link to the Kickstarter is a great way to help without pledging; the more eyes we have on the project, the more people we might get to chip in a couple of bucks. Every little bit helps - even if it’s one dollar or $10… if you get 100 people to pitch in on that that’s an extra hundred to $1000 that we have to help build the Wax Museum Radio Network! Again, st I just wanna say thanks to everyone who has contributed so far - you were hoping to not only continue an amazing show to build something amazing and new!!
