Waiting Room Collective

Waiting Room Collective A video production company
that specializes in sharing YOUR brand's unique story. After all, no man is an island.

Waiting Room Collective was founded in early 2013, simply as a moniker for the work of my friends and I. With that came the idea to form a co-op that could serve as an outlet to showcase our collective talents. As for the name, it comes from my fascination with studying human behavior. Every walk of life, at some point or another, and for a variety of reasons, enters into a hospital waiting room.

It is in this space that one could sit back and watch as a range of human emotions are drawn out of people. From pure elation of good news, to the terrible sorrow that comes from the loss of a loved one, to clinging on to hope in the face of uncertainty; it is all experienced in a waiting room. I beg the question: Could it be in these moments that we are truly most alive? Are these the rare times that we break free from the blueish patina left by everyday requirements? Finally, and most importantly, it is imperative for me to get back to the reasons I started making films; to find that pure childhood joy of getting lost in the characters again. It is important to me to take on the projects that I really am passionate about. As I see it, The Waiting Room Collective is that outlet. Thanks for joining us in this creative process and I look forward to sharing the journey with you all.

Finally, and most importantly, it is imperative for me to get back to the reasons I started making films; to find that pure childhood joy of getting lost in the characters again. It is important to me to take on the projects that I really am passionate about. As I see it, The Waiting Room Collective is that outlet. With that in mind, we are currently in the script phase on two feature films & also have many other projects on the horizon. Thanks for joining us in this creative process and I look forward to sharing the journey with you all. Take care, -Bruce Meyers
