I'm not sure if i am allowed to post the new art from this, so I'm hoping it's safe to share a snipit from this killer upcoming release from "behind the concrete veil" Got to preview it and its my favorite release by them so far! On tonight's show you can hear 3 of 10 slamming releases off this new lp. 10:30pm -12am on . If you miss it - no worries, it's archived for 2 weeks and can find on my page . Ken and i both worked crazy long shifts - it was a struggle but for punk rock we rose to the occasion . I'm still cracking up about how i could turn skee ball into a contact sport. But i digress. Part 3 of this week's 12.31.23 show - part 1 of 2 shows dedicated to records i thought were great this year. Thank you to the bands: - your videos make me laugh so hard and you rock just as much - great ep! Squelette which I was Soooooo looking forward to their LP this year and it did not let me down (*no surprise) - damn good record - Some personal love shouted out to bands with humans i love in it .eyes - A band to watch with 2 singles out and I see great things coming. Love you .grantaclause . Vacant - the Vacant boys are the best - Kerry - captain of hating social media - i love you for that! Philip Pignose O'Neill, John Spitball Pierson Bucky Lawless and Chris McAtee. on the label i adore Mendeku Diskak JODIE FASTER - a staple of my regular jams - YES!!!! more stuff. California 80's sound resurrected. The band that made me laugh all year long and then my mind was blown by the machine gun drummer - It's something to behold ! Problem Patterns made one of the best head turning LP's - biting lyrics that rock and I personally connected with the song "who do we not save" which the topic of classism in access to healthcare should be a regular topic in the punk scene. Part 2 of the show this week 12.31.23 - Some of the best of records that came out this year (going to do a 2 part series) - thank you to the bands who made these killer releases. and then into our "toe tappin' section" The Playmatics Kong Kong Les Lullies where did one of the best production jobs I've ever heard. Engineering award of the year! . Then into the celebration of Oi with the captain of all the "whooooooooohs" (*I love whoooohs - hence loving Official Misfits Fiend Club ) This ep gave me all the whoooaahhhs and - and I feel so dumb that the play button ended up in the photo - it's just my enthusiasm for playing this ep on repeat!

Part 1 of this week's show 12.31.23 - poor stuck with ending the year with this show. This is a 2 part series of records i thought were outstanding in 2023. No hierarchy, just records I loved. Part one - thank you to the bands COUPE GORGE (i knew immediately when i heard this record it would be in my tops for this year) Caloris Impactt_punk (Rebeca's voice is the best vocals in punk rock currently.

Anyone have any magnifying, microscope or otherwise visual enlarging devices they would like to get rid of for the prices of getting good Karma?? I'm teaching a microscope - magnifying process to make art work for the homeschool teaching this Feb - May and could use new devices on a budget of.... nothing. There are several students and I'd love for them to have some options. I have 2 disection microscopes, 1 slide one 1 digital - but am looking for more options. any ideas options and devices - bring em on in

@rawbrigade show was killer tonight.

41 years ago today the go-go's rocked our world with their first record... @the_linda_lindas let me know the future is in good hands. The drummer is age 11 or 12? I'm still loving this whole performance and their positive vibe when it's really needed

Still thinking about the positive vibes from @the_linda_lindas thier own video -those whole know and love the documentary "the decline of western civilization" are exploding with. Moments and i can't say enough about how they bring back the true spirit of punk rock (with a wee bit of parental oversight in a good way.... I'm a teacher, when i see the runaways- I adore the band and then die a little inside wishing they had just a little bit of protection) but even when they express pain - it has a positive lets. Do something vibe to it. I don't care what anyone thinks - i respect this great team of young. People and i feel like i really hope people got enough merch so they can do their tour and if any of them. Are seeking a college degree - we have helped them get there .go. Linda Lindas

The one cool thing about the Midwest.... There isn't much, but thunderstorms... They are amazing - but not as great as those seconds when that cold ass rain hits you, and you can't breathe and you WANT to run inside, but it's too pretty to do so. It makes you feel like a little kid and it's been a not my favorite few days - so this was one of the most enjoyable barefoot in the dirt moments that feels like relief... And yeah.... I felt like one of my little kids in space camp who in a discussion about pooping in space "don't worry guys!! I've done this a lot!!!" (Pooping) glad we had a space poop pro in the classroom

One of the best bands in Minneapolis! #sexcells. Got a cassette out now but neither of these are on there. Tazer and a gun -i got half of it and the one that all of us with particular parts have .. been there. "Batteries are dieing"
