Bringing Thea's story to the Louisville Book Festival (https://www.louisvillebookfestival.com/) this month was an incredible experience! Favorite day was Friday, when busloads of teachers and students arrived to explore books and go home with books, too! Over the two days, this nonprofit distributed about 10,000 books to inspire a love of reading to children and teens. This book, Thea Bowman: A Story of Triumph, was among the books donated to local libraries.

The Festival's goal is to increase a love of reading, offer more accessibility to books for children and teens, and to eliminate "book deserts".
