How do you make something as ordinary as a garbage can look high-tech and sleek? That was the challenge set by Catch-22 Creative, the creative minds behind this concept. Through dramatic lighting, cinematic framing, and a touch of mystery, we helped bring their vision to life—revealing a line of premium trash, recycling and composting receptacles designed for commercial spaces.

This video highlights the craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal of these modern receptacles, available in multiple configurations to fit any environment.

We currently have over 200TB of archive storage for our video projects. But here’s a crazy thought: in the early 1990s, when Creative Images was founded, that much storage would have cost $2 billion! Technology sure has come a long way.

BTW, we archive client projects, often pulling footage from 10, or even 15 years ago. Whether it’s refreshing an old campaign, or creating something new, our archives are always ready to deliver.

We quickly decided to capture this behind-the-scenes look at their Northwoods facility, their dedicated team, and their mission to empower individuals with disabilities.

Did you know? In addition to creating promotional and marketing videos, we also produce broadcast television content.

Recently, we had the opportunity to film local interviews for a crime drama on A&E. The producers, director, and interviewer—Brian Ross (formerly of ABC)—were in New York and conducted the interviews via Zoom, while we handled the local recording to broadcast specs here in Wisconsin.

The client envisioned a dark, dramatic courtroom look for the interviews. However, with the Waukesha courthouse undergoing major reconstruction, that wasn't an option. The solution? A local hotel ballroom lobby. With the right lighting and setup, we worked to bring the client’s vision to life.

Due to safety cages surrounding the sophisticated machinery, our filming strategy involved the use of aerial drones and cameras strategically placed within the cages. This meticulous approach allowed us to film through and above these barriers seamlessly, ensuring that the machinery's impressive details were highlighted without the safety measures being noticeable.

One of our favorite drone shots takes us back a few years to Mitchell International Airport, where we aimed for that 'Top Gun' feel with a dramatic capture of the tower. The perfect lighting was crucial, and it meant waiting for just the right moment. But the planning didn't stop there - we secured FAA approval out of Houston and maintained direct contact with the control tower to ensure our drone didn't cause any distractions. The result? A shot we're still proud of today.

🎥🌪️ EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED: The Day I Learned to Pack for a Video Shoot Apocalypse 🌪️🎥

As a videographer, both running Creative Images and as a freelancer, I've encountered various scenarios that taught me the importance of being prepared for anything. Today, I want to share a light-hearted story that highlights the value of always being ready, even when the plan seems simple.

Many years ago, I was on-site capturing b-roll in freezing Wisconsin weather, when my client unexpectedly requested an interview. Unfortunately, I hadn't packed any interview gear, but I didn't let that stop me. With some improvisation and creative problem-solving, the result was a success, and the client was thrilled!

This experience taught me to bring just about every piece of gear I could possibly need, no matter the plan. You never know when a curveball might come your way, but being prepared ensures you can hit it out of the park every time.
