Makeup was not a common commodity for a woman’s closet in the past. But these days, lipsticks, foundations and other kinds of makeup would even go out of stock at Walmart. We’ve arrived at a generation where the society accepts that makeup is a form of art. Makeup artists from all over the world are being recognized for their talent and more and more people are being encouraged to apply makeup on
there own. My first ever piece of makeup was a Christmas gift from my aunt. It was a Smackers Watermelon lip balm. Ever since, I started to collect my own makeup and I never stopped. Today, I have my own walk in closet with a big dresser and I am regularly accepting clients for events such as weddings and anniversaries. It’s been such a fun ride. Part of the encouragement to write this book is for people to know more about makeup without having to attend expensive makeup workshops. It’s really pretty easy if you keep on practicing and apply the principles being used for this science and art. I hope that as we go through this book, you get to apply the listed principles little by little and someday teach other people how to apply makeup as well.
