Janna Ernst has worked continuously as a vocal coach, life coach and music director for over 25 years. With her support and guidance, clients excel both on and off the stage. She has performed with such houses as New Orleans Opera, Virginia Opera, Cincinnati Opera, The Florentine Opera, Milwaukee Opera Theater and Skylight Music Theatre. A dedicated educator, she has held teaching and coaching positions at Southern Methodist University, the University of Oklahoma and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She earned her Certification as a Life Coach in Positive Psychology and is currently coaching individuals and couples at Lakeshore Psychology Services in Mequon, Wisconsin.

Ally Dellgren is a first year PhD student at the University of Chicago in ethnomusicology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in voice performance from the University of Michigan, a masters in voice from the University of Denver, and a masters in musicology from the University of Tennessee. Her work is rooted in sound and whiteness studies and explores the sonic histories of American industry and society in the American South. Ally and her husband own seven animals (2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 lizard, 1 snake).

Nicholas Lin is a tenor based out of Milwaukee and the greater Chicago-land area. Groups he’s performed with include the Florentine Opera Company (Chorus member in Rigoletto, L’enfant et les sortilèges, Il barbieri di Siviglia, and L’elisir d’amore, La Bohème), Music of the Baroque, Opera for the Young (Count Almaviva in The Barber of Seville), and the Chicago Symphony Chorus. As a concert soloist, Nicholas has sung Handel’s Messiah and the Bach Magnificat in D with the Milwaukee Symphony orchestra, the Mozart Requiem with the Northwestern Summer Chorus, and the role of Colas in South Loop Symphony’s semi-stage production of Bastien and Bastienna. He is a graduate of Northwestern University’s voice and opera program where he studied under Karen Brunssen. At Northwestern, Nicholas performed the roles of Orfeo (L’Orfeo), Frank (Die Fledermaus), The Keeper of the Madhouse (The Rake’s Progress), The Lord Chancellor (Iolanthe), the Learned Judge (Trial and Error), and chorus work in Don Giovanni, Theodora, and Béatrice et Bénédict. In the fall of 2019, he directed OPUS’s production of Arthur Honegger’s operetta, Les Aventures du Roi Pausole at Northwestern. Music Festivals he has performed in include Atlantic Music Festival in Waterville, Maine; Classical Lyrical Arts in Novafeltria, Italy; and International Lyric Academy.

In a career spanning three decades, Kathy has graced opera, musical theater, and concert stages throughout the United States. Locally, Kathy has performed leading roles with just about every major arts group in Milwaukee, including the Florentine Opera, Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theater, First Stage Milwaukee, Milwaukee Opera Theater, Bel Canto Chorus, Present Music, Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra, Forte Theater Company, Festival City Symphony and Brew City Opera. Favorite roles include Floria Tosca in Tosca, Hanna in The Merry Widow, Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Violetta in La Traviata and Lady Billows in Albert Herring. A regional winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Competition and MacAllister Awards, Kathy now enjoys giving back as President of Supporters of Opera Singers, a non-profit focused on supporting the next generation of talented young singers.

Nathan Wesselowski, Tenor/Composer/Educator, has been singing professionally since 1994. He has been heard singing with Milwaukee Opera Theatre often since the 2009-2010 season when he collaborated with Jill Anna Ponasik and Kelly Anderson on 26, an opera dance fantasy. Roles performed with MOT include The Boy in 26, The Evil Headmaster in Jason Powell’s Fortuna The Time Bender vs. The Schoolgirls Of Doom, El Gorrion in Maria de Buenos Aires, The Eurydice Project, and Reciter in Façade. He has been seen in 13 productions with Skylight Music Theatre, where he started his Milwaukee career. Since 2010, Nathan has been serving as an Educator on the Voice and Early Childhood faculties at The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. He received his Master of Music in Voice performance from The Cleveland Institute of Music, where he studied voice with Beverley Rinaldi. He completed his Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at Baker University in Baldwin City, KS, studying voice with Dr. William Gaeddert. Nathan is pleased to serve on the Board of Directors for Milwaukee Opera Theatre.

Tabetha Steege is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (2022) As a talented and versatile soprano with a wide-ranging repertoire she has been able to perform in countless productions. Most recently, Tabetha performed in Brew City’s production of The Magic Flute where she played the role of Papagena. Her operatic experience also encompasses notable roles like Fiordiligi in Così Fan Tutte, Nymph 1 in Rusalka, Nella in Gianni Schicchi and Suor Angelica in Suor Angelica. This past season Tabetha was excited to return as the Soprano soloist in Handel’s Messiah for the 18th annual sing along concert for Fine Arts at First. This summer Tabetha will be performing the role of The Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro with Hawaii Performing Arts Festival.
In addition to her performance career, Tabetha serves as Marketing and Social Media Manager for Brew City Opera, where she develops marketing strategies, cultivates online engagement, and nurtures community relationships.

Brennan Martinez has been described as “a mezzo-soprano to be watched” (Opera Lively) and sings with “power, authority, and a most intriguing color to her wide-ranging voice” (Classical Voice of North Carolina). Recent role credits include Lily Craven in The Secret Garden (Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre), Hansel in Hansel and Gretel (Chautauqua Opera Company), Dorabella in Così fan tutte (Brew City Opera), Marian Paroo in The Music Man in Concert and Mother in Ragtime (Metropolis Performing Arts Centre). She has also performed with Cedar Rapids Opera, Glimmerglass Festival, Piedmont Opera, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, Chicago Fringe Opera, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, and Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. She trained at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts as a Fletcher Fellow at the A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute and at the Wanda L. Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University. She is a member of AGMA and represented for theatre and film/tv by Big Mouth Talent.

Highlights include Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni with the Florida Grand Opera; Peter Quint, in Turn of The Screw; creating the role of Fabian Hart in Jake Heggie's 2019 magical-realism opera, If I Were You, at Merola Opera; Mitch in Florida Grand Opera’s new production of A Streetcar Named Desire; Tamino in Opera Fort Collins’ production of Die Zauberflöte; and Nemorino in Miami Lyric Opera’s production of L’elisir d’amore, “An authentic bel canto singer […], free, ringing high tones that stopped the show [… and] the melting lyric timbre, beguiling stage personality and theatrical aplomb to dominate the stage.” (South Florida Classical Review).
From Kenosha WI, Nicholas studied at Carthage College where he earned his BA in Vocal Performance, and the Eastman School of Music where he earned an MM in Vocal Performance & Literature.

Mezzo-Soprano Kirstin Roble is equally at home on stage and in concert. Some of Kirstin’s recent performances include productions with Madison Opera, Madison Savoyards, Madison Sings!, and Sacra Nova Chorale. Recent roles include Ruth (Pirates of Penzance,) Flosshilde (Das Rheingold,) Third Wood Sprite (Rusalka,) Zerlina (Don Giovanni,) and Dritte Dame (Die Zaüberflöte.) Ms. Roble is also an active recitalist and has recently performed the Alto solos in Messiah (Handel,) Magnificat (Vivaldi,) Gloria (Vivaldi,) Lord Nelson Mass (Haydn,) and Coronation Mass (Mozart.) She has also been a member of the Madison Opera chorus since 2017.
In addition, Kirstin maintains an active career as a church musician, singing with several parishes in the Diocese of Madison and Archdiocese of Milwaukee as a cantor and choral musician. She is currently a Staff Singer and Cantor with St. Maria Goretti Parish (Madison, WI,) Alto in the Diocesan Schola (Diocese of Madison) and Diocesan Chorale (Diocese of La Crosse,) and cantor with Our Lady of Guadalupe Pastorate (Madison, WI.)
Upcoming engagements include concerts and productions with the Madison Diocesan Schola, Madison Savoyards, and Opera on Tap-Wisconsin.

Two-time Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke has been called a “luminous standout” by the New York Times and “equal parts poise, radiance and elegant directness” by Opera News. Ms. Cooke has sung at the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, English National Opera, Seattle Opera, Opéra National de Bordeaux, and Gran Teatre del Liceu, among others, and with over 90 symphony orchestras worldwide frequently in the works of Mahler. In 2022 Ms. Cooke was appointed at the Music Academy of the West as Co-Director of the Lehrer Vocal Institute. Her album how do I find you was nominated for a 2022 Grammy Award for Best Vocal Solo Album.
