Polka Parade broadcasts every Saturday morning over Milwaukee's WJOI, 98.7 FM and 1340 AM radio. The parade starts with a German hour from 9:00-10:00 AM, an hour of Polish-style polka music from 10:00-11:00 AM. Slovenian or Cleveland style music is on the air from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon, followed by the Slovenian Mix from noon until 1:00 PM. Multiple DJ's volunteer their time each Saturday to pres

If you happened to miss the Polka Parade shows for April 19th you missed some great polka radio. Don Hunjadi unearthed a practice tape from one of Steve Meisner's very first basement bands dating back to 1979. Steve was 17 while the drummer and bass guitar player were only 15! Hear Steve several songs he later went on to record during the Slovenian Hour with Don Hunjadi. Craig Ebel provided some Easter favorites on the Slovenian Mix as did Greg Drust on the Polish Hour.
