Polka Parade broadcasts every Saturday morning over Milwaukee's WJOI, 98.7 FM and 1340 AM radio. The parade starts with a German hour from 9:00-10:00 AM, an hour of Polish-style polka music from 10:00-11:00 AM. Slovenian or Cleveland style music is on the air from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon, followed by the Slovenian Mix from noon until 1:00 PM. Multiple DJ's volunteer their time each Saturday to pres

Did you hear Polka Parade for April 11th? Don Hunjadi dug deep into the stack of cassette tapes to find a live recording of the Joey Klass Band from back in 1981. Hear the band as they were trying out two new songs that would later be recorded and played by other bands, plus button box and more. Greg Drust provided the best in German on Heimat Echo. 43 years ago this weekend Jim Ebner cracked the mic open at WYMS radio in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the very first edition of Polka Parade.
