We came home around 8 a.m. after my graveyard shift and slept through half the day. By the time we were up, there was no rush to make Christmas look a certain way. We kept it simple no big plans, just being together, a little chaos, and winding down as the day went on. It wasn’t flashy, but it was real, and sometimes that’s enough.
